Description: Join us for a fun and fulfilling morning pulling buffelgrass at Panther's Peak in Saguaro National Park West District. We will be hiking roughly a mile to a location where we will spend the event pulling buffelgrass, enjoying the company of each other and learning about the wonders of the Sonoran Desert we are protecting from invasives! Snacks and water provided.
Meeting Location: Details on the specific instructions for the meeting location will be sent a week prior to event to those who have signed up. A bathroom may or may not be available depending on the meeting location.
Event location: Saguaro National Park West, Panther's Peak area , *Specific meeting location to be sent prior to event
Tools Provided: picks, gloves, eyewear
Bring: water (2-3liters), snacks, backpack, sunscreen, smiles
Wear: sturdy shoes, sun protection: hat, sunglasses, long sleeves
Additional Information: This event is a part of our First Friday Fiesta series where every first Friday of the month we will have a buffelgrass pull event on the West district of Saguaro National Park. Running from late fall to early spring.
