Chordates of the Sonoran Desert

For my collection I took a wide variety of animals from the phylum chordata who are natives to, or part time residents of the Sonoran Desert region. My collection has information of the characteristics of 56 species along with their silhouettes. The information I collected includes their physical identification as well as some unique facts about each animal to represent diversity between different species. Participating in earth camp helped reassure me to pursue an environmental career through making opportunities to connect with people in my occupation of interest. I feel that I've learned a great deal through hearing about other's journies and by connecting with nature through enriching hands-on experiences. I now plan to join the Arizona Conservation Corps in the future to help expand my knowledge, skills, and to create more meaningful experiences.
