This is the most typical winter weather: sunny days with mild temperatures and crystal-clear air. Tourists from northern climates find it delightful though many residents think it's too cold. The plants and animals also know it's winter. Most animals have gone south or are sleeping underground (though many northern birds migrate down here to overwinter), and most plants are shut down too.
